I have a personal assistant who is always by my side. He has the ability of answering my calls, sharing navigation directions, planning my day and sometimes cooking food for me. He quickly hugs me when he senses I am feeling low. He creates drama when he senses boredom in my life. He is capable of lifting heavy boxes, moving furniture and even packing cartons, when needed.

I am extremely proud of the fact that I am responsible for creating both his primary hardware and software (with some support from my husband, of course). He is self-learning. Therefore, his algorithims are evolving all the time.

In an era, where the world is creating efficient Robots, I am extremely proud of having created good humans.

Like my daughter, who is flown from our little nest, I know, my son too, will not be with me always. But, as long they both are out there, doing there part, I know, I would have done my most important part in this world.

I believe, given a choice, most of us, would always choose to create humans over creating machines. Even though, human offsprings often cause pain and will most definetely grow away from us, we will still always value them much more than any machine, we have or will ever build. That’s what being Human is, isn’t it?
