I was never a mother before

Dear Daughter,

I am just a mother, as lost as they come

I am just a mother, trying to make sense of the stuff

I am just a mother, who can possibly never understand

Cause, I am just a mother, who was never a mother before

Dear Daughter,

I was never a mother before you came in to my life

I was never a mother before you smiled into my eyes

I was never a mother before till I held you to my chest

I was never a mother before who did not know what to do

Dear Daughter,

I do not know what to do, to be the best Mom you got

I do not know what to do, to understand whats going on

I do not know what to do, to talk, to not feel lost

I do not know what to do to understand you more

Dear Daughter,

Hold my hand, help me out

For I don’t know how

Dear Daughter

Hold my hand, help me out

For I was never a mother before you came into my life

I am an ex-Management Consultant and a successful entrepreneur having close to twenty years of corporate experience. I am currently focusing full time on being a homeschooling parent while researching on the future of education and alternate methods of education. I am also a Vedic Math Trainer, an Operations Manager at a business run by her children and a philanthropist working with tens of other under privileged children. I bring all my past and current experiences together in the form of writing blogs. Using these blogs I wish to create awareness in parents, caregivers and educators about parenting, education and holistic living.
